Toronto Police Investigating Series of Sexual Assaults and Distraction Thefts in Scarborough

Karandeep: TORONTO, ON – April 25, 2025 : The Toronto Police Service is investigating a disturbing series of sexual assaults and distraction thefts that have occurred in the Scarborough area. These incidents, involving two suspects, have targeted local businesses over the past several months.

The first reported case took place on June 19, 2024, at approximately 3:45 p.m. at a store near Mountjoy Avenue and Lamb Avenue. One suspect sexually assaulted the store owner while the second suspect stole the owner's wallet containing cash. A similar incident followed on June 20, 2024, at St. Clair Avenue and Kingston Road, where the suspects assaulted the owner and stole cash.

More incidents followed, including a March 13, 2025 attack in the Danforth Road and Midland Avenue area, and another on April 19, 2025, in the Midwest Road and Midland Avenue area, where a store employee was sexually assaulted and cash was stolen.

The latest assault occurred on April 22, 2025, at a store near Danforth Road and Danforth Avenue, where the same pattern of assault and theft occurred.

Police believe the suspects to be the same in all cases and are urging the public to be vigilant. The suspects are often seen traveling in a dark-colored Audi sedan or SUV.

  • Suspect #2: Female, thin build, olive skin, long black hair

  • Suspect #3: Female, medium build, olive skin, long black hair
